Just a quick note to say that return train tickets to Truro on Sat 17th Feb are currently available for just £24! (Or £60 if you fancy splashing out on first class!) A complete bargain considering they are usually close to £100 return! They are advanced purchase tickets though, so be quick!

Good shout! Might have some of that...doubt I'll be going to Scunthorpe that day! Cracking weekend there for the 6-0 win a few seasons back.

Seems like a few have already taken advantage of the £24 rtn. Pretty spot on times as well!
Good to take few down on the Inter-City!

Bumping this back to the top as it’s this weekend.
Looking like around 20 of us on the train, should be a good trip, if we could have a 6-0 repeat of ‘Muken-Day’ that would be nice!

The Old Ale House in the town centre (opposite the bus station) is brilliant! Skinners' pub tap, big pub with around eight ales and real ciders on. Taxi rank litterally outside pub, which was a fiver (5-7 mins) to the ground a couple of seasons or so back.

Brilliant result! Great to get a double over Truro, and when we were down to the bare bones of a squad through injuries. Can't wait for Chelmsford now...

Fantastic day out. Ground is poor but the locals were friendly. Chucked down with rain just before kick off but eased off during the game.
We started off well but found ourselves two down even though we hit the woodwork a couple of times, had at least two clawed off the line and a couple of good saves by their keeper! Second half was s different ball game, Zac made a difference and suddenly we had Pato and Nombe linking really well. Penalty wasn’t given by the lino but Ref was convinced, Pato, deadly, game on. Then more great interplay by the front men and Nombe has a double and we’re 3-2 up and deservedly so!
I recon the Ref played seven minutes injury but the defence led by Oastler were fantastic to close the game out and with a little bit big luck Zac and Pato May have grabbed a deserved fourth in the dying seconds.
Fantastic second half, lads really dug deep. Laughed at the Mary Poppins chant😂 and thought the atmosphere in the club at the end was brills!! Motm difficult, young lad did really well, Nombe and Pato excellent but for me it was a toss up between Oastler and Poku both put it all on the line 😀👍
