No great surprises in the last-four of the competition: OCFC, OUFC, BUFC and KFC(!). Does anyone know when the draw is?

I wonder why the Banbury v Kidlington SF is at a neutral venue (North Leigh), as might be expected, but not the City/United one?

Perhaps it's the quality of the pitch at Marsh Lane?!

Well worth the win, thought United were poor. We do look strong πͺ in defence and well done Pato grabbing the winner after his bad news.
Really looking forward to Saturday, think it will be a cracking game ππ

(...and any idea of the attendance last night?) The OFA didn't take/give an official attendance! Was probably around 200/250 though as a rough estimate.

So when do Banbury and Kidlington play...or have they already?
When is the final? Will it be at the Kassam?
Can I buy a jester's hat from the clubshop?

The last time City beat United in the OSC was in April 1986 (2-0: goals from Phil New and Mark Simpson), and then beat Witney Town 2-1 in the Final.

Banbury/Kidlington is next Tuesday at North Leigh. Final will be at Thame United again i'd assume as the OFA run at a loss if they pay the silly rates Mr Kas-sham charges

Yes, heard on the bus today that it would likely be held in Thame. That's ok! What about the jester's hats? π

Its about time the Cup came home for the 33rd time, wherever we play it. Jesters hats morris dancing (if Ban*ury make it) and open top bus around Barton on the cards Joking aside that's fourth win in a row against decent side who drew 2-2 with QPR dev recently, arguably stronger as they played their full quota of first team players as required by the competitions rules. Defensively we are looking better each game, we did not give much away Clean sheet. Nombe and Esra on another day would of had one a piece but Clayton did make a good save. Pato confidence boost with cool finish. Zack and Rob got much needed rests making Saturdays Squad looking very strong which will be needed against a team sitting second in the league.

The re-arranged fixture was finally played tonight and ended:
Kidlington 3-2 Banbury (AET)
So we'll be facing Kidlington in the final, a time and place to be decided soon I imagine!

About time we lifted the cup again, been far too long and we now have a great chance if we take Kidlington seriously

About time we lifted the cup again, been far too long and we now have a great chance if we take Kidlington seriously It certainly is a while: I'd not realised it was so long! 15 years now since City beat Hook Norton 3-2 in extra time with a Golden Goal (remember them!?) from Lewis Craker.

Never been to ASM looking forward not to traveling 3 hours to the other side of London for a change, although The Thame bus will probably take that long to reach its destination after 500 village stops.
