If Poole lose at home to Hampton & R tonight then, barring a catastrophic leakage of goals, and no points, in their final four matches, City live to fight another season at Step Two.

...and even more games if they progress in the Supplementary Cup beyond Thursday evening.
As leagues are being allowed to extend their seasons because of the dreadful weather over the last couple of months, it does seem strange that the Hellenic are racing to get everything completed before the end of this month
Nomads are certainly going to be busy, but spare a thought for relegation-threatened Lydney Town who have to fit in their last six league fixtures between tonight and a week on Saturday (including coming to Marsh Lane next Monday evening)!

You know it just won't happen that way!!!!!!!!! Poole Town 0-1 Hampton & R !! Mathematical miracles aside that sees OCFC at Step 2 for another year. And not a good season for Sussex with Whitehawk accompanying Bognor to Step 3 after tonight's results.

Concorde play poole home Saturday and need a draw to be safe so Can't see any mathematical miracles.. But after last week's second half we need to put in a performance Saturday last home game aswell. Torquay next season I've booked in at Fawlty Towers.

I see our rearranged Wealdstone fixture is now to be on Thursday, so even City, with no home postponements, face four matches in eight days to finish the season. If we had been still under the relegation threat, that would be bad news; it imposes a heavy burden on a small squad. I can't understand this pressure to get all finished at the same time. It never used to be like that. Football league matches in the years up to the 80s always went over the final Saturday, and in 1963 ran on to the end of May. Is it a result of the play-offs? Or is FA policy based on an assumption of large squads even in non-league?

Thursday of next week...two days after we play the rearranged Braintree fixture, and less than 48 hours before we kick off at Poole. Wealdstone themselves have another fixture on Monday, but this gives them one extra day to recover.

Guess I'll do it again after a wasted trip last week! 😙😁
Oxford Tube to Hillingdon (£15)...three stops down the line to Ruislip Manor and JJ Moons outside the tube. To be fair, had a kinda mini-beer fest on last time!
