An interesting night! Firstly football, we were excellent, took the game to them and should have taken all three points. Pato strong and on the spot to score, was denied another couple by some fabulous saves, Zac and Sincy also had good chances, then missing a last minute penalty ☹️
The rest of it, it’s pokey little ground, decent bar and the pitch was half decent. Now their supporters, they brought a great atmosphere to the game, seem to be having fun, but the Stones ‘yoof’ went over the top with some of their chanting a little too close to the knuckle. Indeed as the game came to a finish I really felt for the few City supporters close to them as the bating got too aggressive and wasn’t properly dealt with..
I’m not a party pooper but could very well have got way out of hand. Apart from the yoof, the locals were friendly and I enjoyed the game. 👍

Presumably this is the old Ruislip Manor ground? I remember a real end-to-end City match against R.M. (a 5-4 win) there in early 1996 and thought it wasn't a bad little ground with a good atmosphere (and no 'yoof' as I remember!).

Yes, agree Shutler, though tbf, as I stood outside the Spoons at Ruislip Manor after, three or four walked by. Said "Oxford" then gave a thumbs up and acknowledgement!
