Noticing the OC Tweet saying that the only other time City/Hemel have drawn in the FAC, City won the replay at the WH 4-2, you could add that City have only played at home against HH twice in the cup, and they scored four goals on both occasions (4-3 in 1962 and 4-2 in 1964). So a high-scoring win on Tuesday??? Not forgetting last season's 4-1 win on the Crumble at the Marsh..Although I think Laurie Walker wants to forget about it. Reminder:

Can I be the first to say...
TWO YEARS IN A ROW!
I thought we were being greedy doing it once.

Respect to Hemel fans, they wished us the best in next round. And I wished them the best in the League, accept when they play us. Turning point came when under cosh after the break, I suddenly saw players at the back who decided to go up a level. And some brave defensive manoveres before we got the second Walkers kicking can lead to a goal at any time. But your centre backs have to be spot on every time. First half was probably our worst performance at home since Bath. But great effort and Character flowed through the side and when we play like that, as a neutral said we look two divisions above our station. Finally good to see Exile. And Ferry cross the Mersey must follow

Thanks for that Neil! I have been on the aforementioned ferry, many many years ago. Now you can get a train from one side to the other without getting wet. Looking forward to that visit. A top class performance tonight: they really piled it on once Hemel seemed to falter, and both Craigs were superb. We can go to Prenton Park without a fear in the world and really enjoy the day (like at Colchestar last season, hopefully!!

Back then it was the last of FIVE successive years that they made it to R1. Though, of course, it was a little easier then because of the exemption rules.
