Tranmerefan here, can I just congratulate Oxford City on a superb performance today, with no disrespect at all I honestly thought Tranmere would win very comfortably but how wrong I was, your team seemed to be first to every ball and a draw was the very least they deserved. I am so relieved to be in the hat along with yourselves for the next round because in my eyes only one team wanted a result today and it wasn't Tranmere. You can and should be so proud of your team after today and playing like that you should be so much higher up in the table in your league.

Yes, congratulations to Oxford City - we were below par in all areas, but that should not detract from a magnificent team performance from the visitors. It feels like we got out of jail today, and it would have been hard to argue with an away win being more than deserved. A special mention to the small but vocal band of away fans too - kept going from start to finish, and great scenes at the end.
Well the replay should be interesting - can't wait, although after that display from Oxford City, I am somewhat apprehensive, especially as there must be a good chance of it being live on TV.

We had a great day out! Tranmere fans and officials were all so friendly and welcoming, and it was a touching sight to see so many of you applauding our boys off the pitch. After a nervous start we finally got going after your goal set us free from being preoccupied with not conceding and I think everyone could see we had the better of the second half. But your lads took their goals well and the late equaliser was stunning. I doubt that we can be quite so good, or yourselves so below par, in a second match but you never know. All in all, today was a fine example of what is best about the FA Cup.

So glad that you all enjoyed your day,and the applause at the end was the least you deserved as regards the replay it should be on the Telly so more money for both clubs we. Some of your players looked like they should be playing at a much higher level, the effort shown by Oxford City today was immense but cannot say the same about Rovers as it is the worst we have played all season, But that is football and the FA Cup that's why we all watch it

It's a game that's approached in a different way by each club. For the league team it looks like a relaxing break from the tension of the league programme, but for the non-league it is the highlight of the whole season, a massive match for which we are ready to give our all. That will minimise the difference between the two, which in any case is not so much about technical ability as about fitness, strength, speed of play and organisation. As the non-league team's confidence and spirit rise, so do their energy levels and we didn't even need to make a substitution for weary legs. But the lower league team is always going to be vulnerable to a mistake, a lapse in concentration, or a piece of brilliance from their opponents, so it's still hard for them to win and it rarely happens. When it does -- dreamland!

Yes met many of you in the pub opposite the ground and very welcoming you were.
Thanks for the applause for our sides effort. I think your being a bit harsh on yourselves, Notts County topped your league last season when we played them second round, and were stunned by our attacking football.
Jennings is a most excellent player and Norwood clinical and composed and does what good center forwards do put their chance away when it really matters with professionalism and composure.
Once again thank you, and we look forward to welcoming you to Marsh Lane a week Tuesday. PS it's called Court place Farm (sat navs) in some places but most prefere Marsh Lane.

I dare say you're probably right when you say it won't happen again. There will still be more pressure on your players than ours, but yours will have the advantage of having time to prepare properly. We had that this weekend because the Hoops took a day off work on Friday to travel up and train, but now we face two matches and one training session before meeting you again. Little or no time to analyse what happened and work on improving it. Much more difficult for ours to get physically and psychologically in the right place this time. League teams usually win the replays, and City have never won one in the FA Cup proper rounds as far as I know. Still, we do have some good subs we didn't use this time, and if the fans get behind us we could be lifted again. We could give you another scare. I'll be impressed if you bring hundreds down with you for a midweek game, but I have to say everything about your club impressed me yesterday, especially your supporters.
