Not many of us there, and an awful journey down for a couple of us, But that's part and parcel of the London rush hour.
Expected the usual onslaught form Dartford over the first 15 minutes. Wasn't disappointed. It's why they have only lost one game at home.
We had made changes because of Saturday, and the busy time ahead.
Set up deep to defend and catch them on the counter was the tactics.
But they bombarded our goal and we're soon two down.
The second goal seem to galvanize us into life and Joe got one back from a slick move from our forward line.
Unfortunately this didn't last long and they were soon 3-1 up, With most of us fearing the worst as halftime approached.
Second half changes were made, and this time our back line held strong Against the inevitable Dartford onslaught. We had some excellent chances ping pong in the box, their keeper made some good saves, but it just wouldn't go in. For me Wiltshire was then clearly tripped in the area, but the ref wasn't interested. Then came citys onslaught on 75 resulting in a goal for Zack fed by Kabby.
After this our front line silenced the Darts fans as they peppered their goal with chance after chance. But nothing went in. Huge relief followed at the end, when the ref blew for time after playing five minutes added..
Summary. If we played in the first half as we did in the second We would have at the very least shared the spoils.

Thank you for going and for giving this report. I didn't expect anything in an away match there so soon after Saturday's massive effort, so losing 3-2 while being denied a deserved penalty doesn't sound bad at all. How did new boy Jack Self, and fairly new Kunle Otudeko play?

How did new boy Jack Self, and fairly new Kunle Otudeko play? A bit shaky at times, but both being given their debut starts against such a strong attacking side was to be expected. They will grow in confidence, with time.
