Danny Rowe signs from Braintree. A Good wide player who will compliment our forward line, and offers another option up front. Having Wiltshire & Craig Fas, more positives. The Management have started early, and that's crucial as we need to Make Marsh lane Difficult for our Northern Friends. Joe signing is massive and Eddie has also made a commitment, this gets better every day. Very important to get our team in place early so any new players can gel quickly, and get used to the surroundings And style of play and ready for preseason.

Like all other players not released,he has been offered a contract. It's a well known fact, that football league clubs have shown an interest. All I know, is we have other targets on our radar should he decided to move on.

Just a note from previous seasons concerning center forwards and for any prospective forwards joining or staying. Ones who are capable of getting around twenty a season usually Repeat or improve on that statistic, Bubb, Pato, others who have lost their way or had average previous seasons, usually find the environment stimulating and excel Yousef, Kabongo.
But looking at the early work done so far, including last night's signing, another winger, who will provide extra set piece accuracy, something we have been missing. What a variety and talented foundation being constructed behind any goal scorers staying, or coming in. It has width bags of pace and skill. I think you will hopefully find yourself very busy and improve on what you have done in the past. Never have I been so confident of the potential, obviously that has to be reflected in the play, but it's very much visible for the hard work ahead pre season after the break.

Very happy with our dealings so far.
Apart from the foward position. I'd like to see a midfield enforcer like Godfrey Poku. Big Mo etc to break up balls and runs through the mid and not scared to get a foot in.
We got a great ball playing midfield but I'm not convinced we have the strength which is a more physically demanding league than the south.
Think we will be fine at home....having the only 3g in the league I beleive will help....but away from home particularly when the pitches become cabbage patches think our midfield will struggle.
Need another couple of defenders. Strong defensive midfielder and an out and out striker then I'll be happy for them to bring it on!

Agreed Hedges meat on the bone for the Northern league. It's early days I believe they are looking and waiting to get the right players, delighted to have the backbone of last season's squad . Joe as Captain has made a statement by signing. That's a good management team in place. Ballard knows what's needed to be competitive defensively at the level and will be looking around. We haven't got bottomless pockets so additions will be well calculated and the Forward situation will be resolved one way or the other soon enough. Ross Jenkins formed a good partnership with Cork at Watford in midfield at Championship level, and knows the strength needed in that position. And Jonah has been quick out of the blocks.

Exactly the player who we can help to return to his best He scored some excellent goals for Hungerford. As said through injury has lost form, but we have a history of restoring center forwards to their best. Hopefully he will have an injury free season and prosper.

Update on Kabby in the OM HERE "There was brief contact regarding availability back in January and the fees and the money that was being touted around at the time blew us out the water. We couldn’t match that. At the moment, our attention has turned elsewhere, to be honest with you.and" . Translation: They wanted him for silly money, very little.

Well that's great, Tarik has stayed on. You could see the partnership with Joe blossoming towards the end of the season, With Jefford also in there and competing, this all needs to tighten up preseason. Eddie Jones as last man,the back line is taking shape..

All looking good, perhaps a coupe of additions to what we have thus far, wonder if we may look at somebody like Greg Hackett or similar as a young local player, could do with another forward as well, may sound like a bit of a punt but i think James Constable could do a job, not neccessarily starting week in week out but he's got experience, knows where the goal is, is available and i think local again as i belive he's working with OUFC, i reckon he would be worth a look tbh
Maybe another centre back to act as cover/competition, although we know that Jefford is more than capable to filling in there too

Hi,
Dulwich fan (who lives in Oxford) here in peace!
Any thoughts on Ryan Case who we've signed from you? He's looked very poor for us in our pre-season friendlies so far; ponderous and a poor passer of the ball. How was he for you?

In and out player, sometimes very good, but passing at times let him down.
