It's good to see City with a team in a league to bridge the gap between the Youth leagues and the 1st XI. Though it's (amazingly!) 15 seasons since City last had a team in the Suburban League there were often good contests in that competition, and it ought to provide good tests and experience for those coming through the City system.
As a 'Saturday team', will they be playing on the 'outside pitch' or are Long Crendon not ground-sharing at Marsh Lane in 19-20?

When are the Suburban League fixtures released? Will the City team be called 'Oxford City Reserves' (as when in the league before), 'Oxford City Development', just 'Oxford City'...or what?

Fixtures not yet there, but league constitution now on Full-Time ( HERE). Not a large division (12 clubs), but a good mix of reserve, Development, U23 and U21 sides.

Well done to the City U23s who kicked off their season in the Suburban League with a 2-2 draw at Maidstone. They're away again next Saturday (07/09) at Corinthians.

A 4-1 win at Met. Police Reserves at the weekend took unbeaten OCFC U23s up to second place in the Suburban League. City definitely making a good return to this league after a long absence. Their first home fixture is on Sept. 28th at 3.00 p.m. against Bromley U23s (1st XI away at Braintree on that day)

After a hefty loss at Lingfield Reserves (12/10) OCFC U23s responded well to bring off a 3-1 win at league-leaders Aldershot U23s at the weekend (19/10). WDYHs!

Though they lost on Saturday, the U23s had been getting back to winning ways, and Rhys King (who'd had a couple of appearances for the 1st XI earlier in the season) has scored in each of the last five games, hitting seven goals in total.
