Job done! A fine all-round performance against a competitive and hard-working team. Lovely second goal from Zac (so good to have him back!) and a great save by Craig to keep the clean sheet. Very pleasing to see the transfer-listed players putting in such a shift: Kyran and Nana had very good games, but to be honest there was max effort all over the park and Joe was immense at the back. You can tell he really wants to be in the draw for the First Round!

Yes Joe is definitely up for the cup, before our last two excellent runs in it, he was at Gosport who also did well, including a run to the final of the Trophy 🏆. Home game next against Dartford, we need to show more of the same and move up that table..

A very impressive performance.Every player played their part and you could sense the team spirit - so important at any level.A quicker tempo suited City and with good movement off the ball it made it an entertaining game.Credit to H&R who showed good character and never gave up. Make no mistake, there are some very decent players at this level and that includes the players at City.Mark, Andy and the other coaching staff deserve a lot of credit as do all the Management for continuing to make City competitive. Quite a reasonable attendance, but it would be good to see crowds regularly over the 400 mark.More of the same and we shouldn't have too many worries. Now who would you like in the next round? Home to Wrexham?

I think I would prefer Boreham Wood or Bromley: a chance to see some past favourites! Not sure we would get Wrexham at this stage anyway, as it may still be regionalised at 4Q level. Whoever we get we have a reasonable chance of getting through to the 1st Round Proper. Bring it on!!

There were certainly two 'zones' in last year's 4Q, and I think it's still the case. The most northern team in last season's 4Q were Kettering and they'd been 'rezoned' to make even numbers in the southern part of the draw.

In that case it has to be Aldershot at home............
