Good luck to the team tonight. Surely, their keeper cannot play as well as he did on Saturday. He was the difference between drawing and winning.

City share eight goals, but go out of the competition after the penalty shoot-out (4-1). Hornchurch will be at home to Dulwich Hamlet in Round One.
A bit of 'historical' trivia...the first time (I think!!) that City have used four substitutes in a competitive fixture. And the fourth substitute scored a goal.

To anybody not in attendance a 4-4 draw that goes to penalties would sound like an exciting pulsating game that probably had everything, this was definitely not the case.
A poor game with very little in the way of quality from either side.
Some positives, delighted for Elliot Benyon who has worked his bollocks off in every appearance so far, took both of his goals very well and they are beyond deserved.
Stef again on the scoresheet, his goals/minutes ratio must be very good
Thought Josh Ashby was our best player, but i'm unsure why at 2-1 we suddenly decided to revert to 6 across the back and trying to lump the ball up in the hope that Benyon could do something with the scraps, we invited the pressure on and they deservedly equalised, at times we looked like a Hellenic league side literally just smashing the ball into the air.
We couldn't cope with Marvin Morgan at all, he is an awkward customer but not exactly the most cultured of footballers but he tied Jefford in knots.
Extra time was bizarre, again a bit of quality from Josh with the freekick and a nice finish from Brown.
To rub salt into the wounds we ended up stuck on the M25 for a further hour on the way home!
All the best to Hornchurch, although i imagine Dulwich will give them a good hiding

Interesting that Hornchurch fans seem to think that yesterday’s match was a brilliant game - have to wonder how awful their games are normally if they think last night was a decent game!
Really bizarre game as Padz said above - our first half lead was proper smash and grab stuff, and Hornchurch did deservedly get themselves back in the game second-half.
Still trying to work out that extra-time - one point looking like it could have ended 7-7 or something.
Shout out to the M25 which made the journey home a misery as well.

Oh dear, I was hoping to read that the team showed real character after the disappointment of conceding a very late equaliser in normal time. That they deservedly came back twice from behind in extra time and should have won, but it seems it wasn't the case. Well done to those supporters who made a difficult trip on a Tuesday night. Let's hope Saturday brings 3 points and a good performance though it won't be easy against a much improved Hamlet side.
