No indeed, and it will give us a chance to redress the home defeat we suffered in the Cup at their hands (3-4) in 2007/08.

Hello all!
Really looking forward to this match, should be a great occasion for both sides.
If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer for you.
I'm also looking for three/four volunteers to help with a Programme Article we'll be running on the day, called "Spying Seagull". All it involves is answering a few questions about your club and squad just so our fans can learn something about Oxford City! If you wish to volunteer and be featured, let me know and I'll drop you a PM with a list of questions!
Cheers all

According to Google it is a couple of hours drive, so I was thinking perhaps we leave at about 10ish to get there just after 12 - giving us time for a few pre-match beers but obviously happy to go with what the majority would like!
Hoping to find out more details tonight on cost but would think between £12 and 15 per person.
Should be another great day out!

Sounds perfect...just that, don't think there's too much in the way of pubs near the ground..so a drop off nearer the sea front would be nice!

If you get to Weston early, then heading straight to the seafront is certainly the best idea. You never know, some of you may fancy going on this ride.

Looking on Google, there is a pub at the end of the road - The Walnut Tree - looks about a 20 minute walk. Perhaps we could do as we did at Eastleigh and all go together?
Suspect we will have a mix of people again so need to cater for all if possible.
Keep the suggestions coming though!

As for the Eastleigh game, the Club have asked if we could please park in the Marsh Lane car park to avoid congestion in the Oxford City car park as there are other games taking place at OCFC that morning. The coach will also leave from the Marsh Lane car park.
The Clubhouse and kitchen will be open from 8.30 if you fancy a pre-journey pint/breakfast bap/bacon roll..... Coach will depart at 10am.
After a general consensus yesterday, coach will deliver us at Weston's ground and we can disperse as we like from there.
Still a few places left on the coach so if you would like a place, get in touch!
Cheers Sharon

When we played Weston in the fa cup a few years ago. We got the coach to drop us off by the (burned out) pier at about 12 o'clock. And then got it to pick us up again from the toad train stop by the aquarium at 2pm for the short journey back to the ground. If that helps at all.

I am sorry but the plan is for the coach to go direct to the ground - that way people can go to the seafront, any particular pubs, straight into the ground as they wish. You will appreciate we have 40-odd individuals going all with differing views as to what we should do and I can't cover them all!
On another point, there are just five seats left so if you are interested, please do get in touch to reserve a seat.
Thanks Sharon
