It may not have been a big crowd numbers wise but it was one of the better atmospheres we've produced in a while.

That would be a replay of City's 1st Round tie v Luton in 1967, which was snowed off at the White House and then transferred to Kenilworth Road: attendance there was about 14,000, I think. I don't really mind where or who we play, so long as we give of our best, as we did against Burton. Incidentally our 406 was unfortunately the lowest attendance for the 4Q games on Saturday, but we should get a bumper crowd for any home tie coming out of tonight's draw. Come on you Hoops! I'm late to the show in congratulating the lads on a great result Saturday.
Thought we looked far more secure defensively but still had more than enough up top to score more....and should have had a hatful really.
Im not fussed who we get in the next round as long as it's not someone from our league or another Redbridge type affair.
Roll on a much over due league win Saturday at Hemel and all will be dandy again!

Port Vale away...Burslem a good place for a few ales, though reckon our hardy away contingent would look a little lost in the 4000 capacity away end! You mean you won't be joining us in the 1st round proper? Disgraceful! 😉 City have priority almost exclusively...unless drawn at home to the Yellows from the ghetto! |
