Good luck to him. They're not having the best of seasons so far. Hope he gets a few wins for them soon...except against City, of course!!

Stuart Nelson is now at Dorking Wanderers That's certainly a long career: still playing at a high level, 20 years after playing for City, and at the age of forty.

Stratford Town vs Shrewsbury earlier today was rather like watching an Oxford City team, as Stratford fielded three ex-Hoops, Kynan Isaac, Lewis ("pineapple") Wilson and Jaanai Gordon. Nice when they went ahead after 5 minutes, but Udoh (remember him?) and Co. ended up victorious. I think that Stratford played a trifle better than Banbury in their televised game yesterday.

And then there's St Albans (Kyran Wiltshire) playing against Forest Green (Udoka Godwin-Malife)! We know how to grow talent.

Owen James also who we briefly had on loan and manager Paul Davis who coached here

Interesting to see so many ex-Hoops around and on TV. Thought Banbury were a bit disappointing, but St Albans looked very good - that'll be an interesting contest just after Christmas - and Kyran Wiltshire was very prominent.

Harry Isted (4 matches for OCFC when on loan) made some fine saves for Luton to keep Chelsea at bay for much of the (televised) FA Cup tie last night: he came on as a first-half sub when the LTFC keeper was injured.

Somewhat in the shadow of the news about Klaidi's transfer to Crawley. Gerald Muchechetere also signed for Kidlington this week in search of more first team football no doubt. This follows fellow academy player Patrick Osbourne's switch earlier this month to Didcot Town. But the real ex players news, following the academy theme, was that Ewan Clark has signed a season long loan with Bath City from Bristol City. I spoke to Ewan during the play off semi final and he was keen to come back and play at City but I guess this loan probably scuppers that.
Finally, this week another ex city player Finn Tapp has signed for Jonah at Banbury.

Good to see that ex-Academy players are finding clubs where they might get more match-time. I wonder if anyone will be able to make the step up into the 1st XI from the Academy side or the City Development side this coming season? With City now at Step 1 I'd imagine it would be rather hard for any from those teams to make the transition.
As said elsewhere, it is excellent news for the club that it has been able to retain such a large number of talented and committed players. This season will be a steep learning curve, but to have a nucleus of players who know each other's games so well is a great start.
