If you are wondering why so many of our players are elsewhere now, it is mostly down to a developmental approach. The club has a large number of teams, and the management see an equally large number of players. Not all have Blue Square potential, so obviously there will be a certain amount of 'churn'. Also, you have to realise that over the years we, in common with other clubs, develop some players to the point where they are ambitious to play in a higher division, and so they go off to pastures new, mostly with excellent memories of the time spent with City. Rarely does a team stay intact over a whole season! If however you are referring to crowd attendances, then I think you are in the wrong thread!

Spotted Ikechi Anya in a Watford shirt on the TV the other night - looked to be playing right-back? HAs done well this season (25 appearances - 4 goals). I see the Watford website has him down as Scottish!

Jason Mooney was on the late night Football League show, with just a few seconds on film. He was also quoted in today's Times 'The Game' supplement: the short article mentioned Wycombe and working in the bar there (but not City, unfortunately). Looks like we are getting a good reputation for bringing on goalies for League clubs.

Spotted Ikechi Anya in a Watford shirt on the TV the other night - looked to be playing right-back? HAs done well this season (25 appearances - 4 goals). I see the Watford website has him down as Scottish! He is Scottish! Born and grew up in Glasgow, I think his Nigerian father was working as a doctor there. He is qualified for Scotland, Nigeria and Romania (through his mother). When he played for City I shouted 'Anya for Scotland!' at him after one of his better performances; he just laughed. Now, however, you never know....

Ikechi Anya had a good game for Watford today, laying on an excellent goal. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to give his team automatic promotion. He might be playing against Garath McCleary next season!
