We'll have to be at our best, they are on a great string of results! They certainly are. Second in the 'form table' with 11 points from the past 5 games. Still, City have got 10 points from the last 5 so it should be a close game.

Another useful win, and we are now 12th in the table. Onwards and upwards... Excellent stuff, you Hoops!

Another useful win, and we are now 12th in the table. Onwards and upwards... Excellent stuff, you Hoops! Great performance, against a team in very good form, first half was tight, but we went on the rampage second half could have been six, mind you good save from Kingy to save clean sheet at end. Mind you credit where credit is due their keeper made outstanding save to stop 5. Just put £2 on Joe Oastler to be top scorer

Court Place Farm is a good place to be at the moment if you support City. It is a real pleasure watching us play as we did in the second half. As Jonah has said, the key thing is getting the first goal, which took a while to come after a bright opening when Kabby had a great chance to open for us in the early stages -- the first of a series of good stops by their keeper. They came at us in the second half but we scared them with our quick breaks, and most of the time we were in cruise control once Joe had scored the second, and before long Kabby had put Sam Nombe through for the third. Those two are linking up well now, and between them are a real handful for opposing defenders. Truro had to abandon their five-man defence and gaps opened up. We could have been more clinical with the final pass and won 6-0 as OWHH says, without a doubt. But that would be being picky. This was a fine all-round team performance, with another stand-out display by Zac, a quietly composed but useful contribution from Jack Self, and everyone else playing their part, including the utility men who had to play out of position, and the subs who between them created and scored the final goal.
Maidenhead have a tough fixture to get through if they want a place in the next round of the trophy!
