Been to St Albans twice now...last season with City - freezing cold day, hovering little above 0c and then in the summer (day of England v Sweden WC QFs) with Northampton. Total extreme...boiling day, hovering over 30c. Only Dean Snedker's (St Albans' Northampton based keeper) wife was hotter!
Definitely nearer the former climate tomorrow I'd wager...if on! Game must be in doubt, though expected to be around 2-4c for mid-morning/afternoon time tomorrow.

Nearly got a point with a clearly depleted squad: unlucky You Hoops. First time City have failed to score in a League game since early September at Slough: that's quite some record.
It's actually the best run of scoring that City have had since the SSML season when they went from mid-September (0-1 at Aylesbury Vale) to mid-February (0-0 at London Colney) without failing to score. In fact those were the only two games they didn't score in that season: 53 matches in total!

Hit post twice. Cannot understand why we were not given a penalty. Never seen such a cast Iron one. Would of meant straight red, Ref bottled it.. Very disappointed for the players who gave their all under difficult circumstances. Around 30 Oxford city supporters making all the noise again...

Very disappointed for the players who gave their all under difficult circumstances. Around 30 Oxford city supporters making all the noise again... Possibly the most end to end game ever watched - certainly one of the most entertaining whilst at 0-0, though as remarked by several at the time, one team (whoever) was going to score! St Albans have made a habit of scoring late goals - as evidenced in their prog, which kept referring to OCFC as the 'Nomads'! Not sure about City's '30' making all the noise...St Albans this time around contributed (generic or otherwise) throughout - unlike my previous two visits, where they have been totally silent!

Never heard a word, until we went into full voice and at the end.

Never heard a word, until we went into full voice and at the end. Noise doesn't carry in an open ground like Clarence Park - doubt they heard us either!

One again, some sentences in that Oxford Mail report seem awfully familiar...
