It'll be interesting to see where Kabby's total finishes up, but it will certainly be excellent. It will continue to show how well, generally, a productive striker has been found by the City management despite the difficulty in coming up with a 20+ front-man these days.
By way of comparison, in the previous five seasons City's top-scorers have been:
2013/14: Symons and Winters (both 8 goals) 2014/15: Yussuf (31 goals) 2015/16: Bubb (24 goals) 2016/17: Fondop and Louis (both 8 goals) 2017/18: Paterson (27 goals)
Kabby's record at present is 34 goals in all competitions.

Where's Jack Woodley when you need him! Another like him would be good.

Where's Jack Woodley when you need him! Another like him would be good. Yes indeed...64 goals in 54 matches in the 1964/65 season!!! No one is going to beat that record: or even get close I suspect.

Unsurprisingly, the seasons when we have struggled recently have been the ones when we did not have a high scorer, which confirms how important it is to have one (or two!).
