To be honest, this is going to involve many, opinions, views, not just my own, although I will put them first... Got to game shortly before kick off. Heard team lineup, Zac was in, No Tapp. Rowe bench. I had beer before I ventured out. Walker was in goal for them on loan from MK, they had other new players and loanees, much like ourselves.
We Went one nil up early, but for me the first half, although our center halves clearance from first ball was excellent, the secondary decisions were poor, and they tried to capitalise, as we went into job done mode.. We got to halftime by the skins of our teeth, the ball hitting the post, but claimed by King.
Second half:
Looked like different side, all over them at times looked easy, Jonah must of had word.. 3-0 looked all over, accept, for me Tapp had to come on.. I said if they score one which I did not want to happen, if we didn't shore up defense, also tiring, we were in for a long night. And yes it a took penalty..But after that , good grief...
Other opinions some didn't agree with Zac starting, others though we had to show steel. Others could not fault Jonah, on the basis of learning a lot, and to be honest we had to show all the characters of running clock down in the corner, brilliance by Eddie Jones..
Delighted with 3 points..

O.M.'s (brief) report HERE. P.S. The report also mentions Banbury Utd's minute's silence for long-standing committee man Nigel Porter: wasn't he also on the City committee for some time?

See another Former City Player Louis Soares playing for The Beavers last night. I rarely make an observation about Other teams forwards, but Tyrone Lewthwaite their young center Forward caught the eye looks very quick and menacing, took his goal really well.

The report also mentions Banbury Utd's minute's silence for long-standing committee man Nigel Porter: wasn't he also on the City committee for some time? Yes unfortunately it is, he was briefly on the committee at City and passed away suddenly according to Banbury website www.banburyunitedfc.co.uk/news/nigel-porter-2453231.html
