Three goals and three points for Christmas, and an entertaining match we could attend for free-- what's not to like? Apart from the first and last quarters of the match where we were unconvincing against modest (but hard-working) opposition, who frankly deserved at least a point, and would have got it but for a fine Craig King save near the end. But Zac gave a superb MoM performance and scored a scorcher of a goal to equalise, and a pretty good second to give us the two-goal cushion which did not last very long. Overall we looked good going forward but a little shaky under pressure, and it didn't help that Tarik went off injured.

Watching his first goal really does get you thinking sometimes about where we'd be without Zac. What a goal it was, and have to say it was made even better by the quite laughable Hungerford penalty appeals moments before. Oastler sliding in and taking all of the ball before his man, yet for some bizarre reason the linesman felt reason to flag! Good job that the referee saw what actually happened and gave the corner.
The league table is extraordinary at the moment - 10 points separating Tonbridge in 21st place and Concord in the final play-off spot. At this stage of the season, that's very tightly packed, and really proves that there's still everything to play for! For us - we're potentially just one win away from a play-off spot (although miracles would have to happen for that to occur!)

The main takeaway from Hungerford fans on Twitter was that the ref was on the payroll for us because they weren't given a penalty which was never a penalty in a million years, a good tackle by Joe that somehow the linesman saw fit to flag for before pointing for a corner (which it was)
3 points the most important thing to take from the match, though not a massively convincing performance ,but lovely to see us play 2 strikers and i thought Benyon was again fantastic, i genuinely don't think he's had a bad game for us, Gordon still needs to get himself going though.
Weymouth will be a test, would like to see Rowe and Brown getting minutes, Rowe especially is our strongest attacking threat from a wide position.
Hopefully Finn Tapp will be back, not sure if he was suspended or injured yesterday, ditto Jack Self
