It would be good to reach R1 again.
Only the second time in the last 13 years we've gone the first five games of a season unbeaten, so..........

When was the last time, Chris? And what do the stats suggest about City's chances at Weymouth in view of previous results there?

We've played at Weymouth five times over the years with 2 draws and 3 defeats. But then when do statistics ever prove anything .

All those stats indicate, is it's about time we won there then 😊

Thanks, Chris. Yes, I remember that team in 2014 when we were in the northern division with several Spanish players in our ranks. I thought at the time it was the best City team I had ever seen, and I think in the end they only just missed the play-offs that season. Now, I think we have a group which is on a par with that one (though some are only on loan and may disappear before long).

They went on to get promotion via the playoffs, who can forget the fancy dress away fans from Yorkshire doing the Congo with us in the Shed end. The Spanish were like an engine room at the back, futsal type pinpoint passing.

Coulson & Hendo with them at the back, yousef and winters up top, and our bumpy old pitch.

Get in there. Nearly threw it away mind, but had by far the most chances, woodwork twice, Bycroft made some good saves.. In the hat for the next round.

An excellent result: COYHs.
Still unbeaten after six games: best start to the season since 2007.

Great result, and what an achievement to reach the First Round Proper four years in a row! Good for local teams too, as Banbury and Brackley will also be in the draw.

It's over forty years since we played Banbury in the FA Cup, and we've never met Brackley in the competition. Still, not much fun in a local derby without supporters present!!

What a mess full of inaccuracies: Not Joe Own Goal, and Roberts scored penalty..

The Weymouth live stream commentator said a number of times that City had not been in the 1st Round Proper for about 13 years: most odd! I think our current run of 1st Round is better than the 1960s purely because back then the last four came after a bye to the 4th Qualifying: now of course we have to slog it out from the 2nd. I know a remedy for that but will wait until later in the season to even think about it!

There has already been a few, let's hope we stay clear and safe.

The 66/7 run was from 1Q, but the next four seasons 'only' involved negotiating the hurdle of the 4Q. It's a bit too soon in the season to think about your other 'remedy' yet...but who knows?
