I see that some clubs are publishing the number of subscribers to the live streamed games. It would be interesting to know how many people are taking advantage of this coverage. Next week might be very interesting!

Well, that was pretty underwhelming. City's (and David Oldfield's) unbeaten runs came to an abrupt end after an efficient performance from a decent HRB team which came with a game plan to frustrate City and press them in midfield, and City had no Plan B until the subs came on too late to make much difference. Just when we seemed to be coming back, and Aaron Drewe had flashed a shot inches wide at the end of our best move, they scored with a screamer from a player who was given too much time on the ball, and it was all over. The ref added on only five of the approx. 15 minutes Hampton had wasted but you felt that even with ten more to play, City were not going to score. Too many players were off their best game today -- maybe their minds were on the Northampton game? If so, a big mistake from which the manager will have learnt a lot.

Yes, the long balls to no where, were a feature of last season, which needs cutting out. Obviously a case of minds elsewhere, or over confidence, probably a mixture of both. The trick is to learn from the mistakes, something David will be working on in training this week.
