I thought it was a useful point against a much better St Albans side than last seasons, even thought Wiltshire had a decent game for them.
Neither side created too many chances so a goalless draw was probably right, my only concern is that without Roberts we do lack in pace going forward (except for the two full backs), might be a good time to give Jacob Bancroft some minutes and see what he’s got, as he clearly has some pace and liveliness to him.
Thought Gerring, Oastler and Fernandes were a very solid defensive trio, still feel we are short of another striker, could do with a Fondop type powerful number 9 to compliment Benyon, Osei-Yaw from up the road could also be a good punt, very raw but seems to know where the net is

I think Bradbury was signed for his power and aerial ability. Owusu has a bit more pace and a good shot on him (he came nearest last night with that long-range effort). He hasn't had much pitch time this season, only one or two starts and at Shrewsbury he was on his own with a brief to press the defenders. Benyon is great in many ways but at 33 he isn't going to be as quick as he used to be. Bancroft is, as you say, worth a look and more pitch time too. With so many games in the next month or two I am sure all four of them will be needed, and maybe a new signing or loanee if someone gets injured. We are shorter on wing backs, only having the two who play every game. Cover there would be the priority for me.

Heard a rumour of a new signing/loan in that position at the game, but they are usually announced Thursday night, we will see if that comes off. It was certainly an experienced striker mentioned at this level, but whether they have sustained his services, well we will find out soon enough, in my opinion, looking at our set-up who wouldn't want a position as striker you are going to get plenty of opportunities to score, that's for sure. As for Gerring, he really did have an excellent Game, very strong defender, I do hope his initial loan can be extended as he starts to reach full fitness.
