The BTFC report on Saturday's match ( HERE). Clearly the Fates were against them taking all three points?

I must say I prefer our report, and even the Oxford Mails, the ref saw an elbow in face, he gave a second yellow, get over it. We had just as many chances as them if you look at the stats at half-time, we have had more shots on a target and off target. Second half was similar.

First half stats: Possession % Braintree; 52 - City 48 Dangerous Attacks; 14 - City 18 Shots off target; 3 - City 4 On target; 1 - City 3 Corners ; 6 - City 3 Bookings 1 - City 1 Correct 👆 stats don't lie. Rose tinted glasses do. We also had 4 more dangerous attacks, they had more corners and 4% more possession. I'm sure David has already analysed that, and is addressing that in training....

My 'Fates against them' tongue-in-cheek comment reflects my general feeling that managers etc seldom view matches through anything other than rose-tinted glasses when speaking to the media. You just have to hope that they are rather more realistic when debriefing their squads in the privacy of the changing room!!
