TRIVIA ALERT! Interesting that we're playing at Slough on a Sunday...City's first ever competitive game on a Sunday was against Slough - way back in January 1974. The national fuel crisis had brought a ban on floodlit games, so Sunday was the only alternative.

Another good result against a strong side. ANOTHER TRIVIA ALERT! Still only one match this season in which City have failed to score. The 2005/6 season saw only two games when they didn't score, but, otherwise, the average number of matches per season this century in which they fail to find the net is eleven!

If we lost i don't want to know π I was there - a pretty dull game as I remember it - a tight nervy game. Wasn't at today's game but it sounds as if it was very competitive again. All the best for the rest of the season. (Unless we meet in the play-offs but we're a bit off that at the moment.)

Don't think I'd be all that surprised if we did end up meeting in the play-offs.

Probably a fair result, but two goals conceded from long throws feels a little disappointing. At least Harmon's left boot earned us a point in the end (Now moves three ahead of James Roberts in the goalscoring charts).
Have to say, after reading a few comments about our home atmosphere on Boxing Day, I was looking forward to a decent atmosphere this afternoon, but apart from the odd song after their goals, it was rather flat... other than the away following who were in fine voice now being back up to full strength.

Unfortunately a victim of the dreaded covid so had to listen to the slough commentary, sounds like a good point, seems as thou teams donβt learn about defending the Slough long throw, but we canβt complain Andy Ballard was doing it 10 years ago for us
One strange thing thou, the crowd was clearly given to the commentator as βnine hundred and somethingβ to which he was adamant it was more and then gave it out as 1106, which seemed odd, still an excellent attendance mind you, as there were at several of the other games yesterday which is great to see
