Yeah, I was one of a handful at the game, took us 4 hours because of fallen trees, and I know other fans had to turn back because of an accident on the motorway.
I would like to thank the players for doing their best. They were at home and a very decent side without their top goalscorer, but we were without Zach, so no excuses. They certainly could of been three up with a wonderful first goal giving them a boost, most fans I spoke to were very nice but of course you have your usual idiots. The bitting incident needs to be reported not only to the FA I would say the police it was an assault visible, (photo going around twitter) and witnessed, that the ref thought only warranted a yellow card.

What was with the away support? Huge game between two team pushing for automatic promotion and there were maybe 5 fans in the place.

Took us the best part of four hours to arrive in the end. We thought we'd left plenty of time but ended up arriving seven minutes in. I know a few other fans enroute just gave up and turned around when the ETAs kept creeping up.
No complaints about the result to be honest, although we played some nice stuff at times, never really tested the keeper (other than when he joined a pile of his own defenders in the first half to allow Joe to score). Although a big blow to be missing a resurgent Zac, Coyle was probably our MOTM in his absence.
Regarding the biting incident, it will be interesting to see the replay of that, as certainly the picture of Ashby's arm after the game looks very damning on the Maidstone player.
Complete stupidity from Harvey right at the end as well for his red card, he's just becoming a serious liability now with two red cards in the last few months, and giving away a stupid penalty immediately after coming on a couple of weeks ago. Would have thought as soon as they went down to 10 men that Bancroft would have been much the better option to bring on yesterday.

We were another victim of the traffic, left with loads to spare but beaten by the M40 and ended up turning back in the end
Sounds a lovely day topped off by Luque turning Suarez and biting Josh Ashby and Bradbury being an absolute idiot again.

We are not Oxford United as your commentator so wrongly called us on the highlights of the Eastbourne game. although our away support has been going up, in case you didn't notice it's been a little windy lately and trees down on your railway line didn't help. It was a round trip of 0f 9 hours because of the disruption by the way," I know cos I was there".

Fair play to those City fans who made it down. More than a few hundred home fans didn’t fancy the weather either. Honestly thought your players would be better than that. Maidstone have learned to work and fight for every ball, which makes a nice change. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Sorry, yet another opposition manager claiming we're full time. We train three mornings a week so nowhere near full time. As far as I'm aware Ebbsfleet are the only full time team in this division. Not having a go, just correcting what seems to be a commonly held misconception.

I’ve heard there was a bad one after the red that wasn’t shown, but the two bookings for Booty leading to his dismissal look extremely harsh, we would be fuming if one of ours was sent off for those two

Two sides to every story. I don't know whether to here was a biting incident or not as I only saw the aftermath, but your player reportedly had ours in a headlock at the time so not entirely blameless. The ref saw fit to book them both so I imagine that will be the end of it.

However that was a red for the so called 'alleged' bite ( teeth marks, I suppose he did it himself) not on at anytime, let alone in this day and age with the pandemic, headlock more like arms everywhere. You could say Bradbury was responding to alleged stamping incident Which he claims, yet received a red for retaliating which I am not defending..
