It's not often I will be critical of our performance and general outlook of our situation, but I'm going to make an exception.
Where do I start: Yeah for the first 15 minutes we dominated and could of been two up. But if you don't finish then you deserve nothing. Talking of nothing, forgive me for not jumping Up and down at the managerial appointment and explanation.
Ross and Andy at this level are excellent coaches, but NOT managerial material. Yes of course we want to see players coming up from the academy in the longterm. but not at the expense NOW of a play-off place.
Yeah Wake up time:
Coming home with our fans there was a collective agreement on a number of points You can't have KIDS from our academy and United's academy starting at this level with potential (It doesn't work that way, they need time to develop) It's the here and Now... We have injuries and other issues. Don't know what's happening with Harvey... Benyon, potter,Carro! are hugely missed from our squad, I wish them all a speedy recovery.
Basically if we want stay in the play-off hunt we need to win games. And that's not happening, very lucky to get a point at St Albans, Then Ebbsfleet, and the explanation. Oh deary me, wake up call number Two: No we didn't deserve to get anything out of it ROSS... Turning up at the end of the game with a flurry of missed chances, and saying we could of won is not only obsured, it's delusional. Our defensive performance was worse than poor. Today very similar.
Proper replacements should have been brought in as the outcome/performance/results speak for themselves. And a final word, any time you want to have a chat with me I'm on the terraces, don't take it out on a fan who was not critical, and turned up in the clubhouse for a drink afterwards, something on this occasion I could not do, and certainly did not clap our players, they did not deserve it, nor did you.
Solutions 👉 recruitment needs thinking about short term, and I'd start Bancroft, an experienced forward who When given the luxury of consistency tends to deliver.

I think that’s a real low blow to be fair, we had one academy kid playing , Ewan Clark and he’s playing on merit and was arguably our best player in the first half.
We’ve had a bad defeat there, there’s no denying it but let’s not S**t the bed and start being negative as F**k, it helps absolutely nobody.

There was even one view that we don't want to go up this year which I did not agree with, I know Ewan has excellent potential, but needs Playing into the side, imo he's in the deep end, the United lad has also shown signs of potential, obviously the usual stipulation with such a loan is he must play.. I'm sorry people do get angry especially when the basement outfit do a Six pointer. The st Albans manager was critical of their performance against them in the week, but like us from the video highlights they probably should have been 3-1 up at halftime, for me you say what you see, yes we had some good possession first hour but no end product, the defending was poor, yes you can see they have the long throw we were apparently prepared for that, but it did not work, did it. And no my beds fine thanks

"for me you say what you see"
Having spent so many afternoons stood watching you shout at players who weren't even on the pitch, this doesn't fill me with confidence.

And no my beds fine thanks Well, who do you suggest starts in place of Ewan in the starting XI from yesterday? He was one of our better performers yesterday, he ran the Ebbsfleet players ragged when he came on last week, and has looked very much at home at this level in all of the matches he's played this season. He's got a very bright future ahead of him, and is playing matches on merit at the moment. Agree with Padz on the result - yes it was a bad defeat, we are badly missing the experience of Canice in defence, but all teams in this division will have bad defeats throughout the season. Football would be boring if all results went with form.

Yes and that's my point entirely, while we have had the endless interviewing process at which time the present boss said he had and eye on a few players, We have only had one player on loan, and its shows a lack of depth, yes I understand we are not Ebbsfleet but I've heard a bout a center back coming in for a long enough time. No we didn't play well as a side in the last two games perhaps it was wrong to single players out. And I hope I'm completely wrong about my other comments, we will find out in time. Just another point or am I missing something again not a mention of injury news and estimated time they are on the sidelines.
