The improvement in home gates this season has been mentioned in a couple of other threads. I thought it might merit a thread of its own...
So, for what it's worth, here are the average home league attendances since OCFC reached Step 2.
2012/13: 311 2013/14: 282 2014/15: 321 Moved to the South --> 2015/16: 295 2016/17: 302 2017/18: 319 2018/19: 353 2019/20: (369) (season incomplete) 2020/21: - 2021/22: 619
So not a great deal of change over the seasons, until now. Discuss!

Thanks, Chris - very interesting stats. Obviously, we have done well this season, but we were also doing well in the two previous seasons. There have been fewer midweek matches and one extra bank holiday. We haven't clashed with United as far as I can remember, whereas in previous years there were always days when both were at home together. The club has been trying to promote matches, do some special deals and so on. We have had a lot of junior players at matches (all for free). But even putting all that together you would not have expected more than 500 given our former record.
As has been said elsewhere, attendances everywhere seem to be up, which may be a post-lockdown effect; and that means more visiting supporters too. Whether it will last next season when prices everywhere will be higher and the cost of living crisis takes its toll will be a different matter.
