Dear Andy, Please, can you get City playing like Maidstone? Many thanks.

O.M.'s report HERE. Pity about the result, but good to see an increase in average home league attendances over last season (up from 322 to 336 over the first 10 home games).

Well, it hurts to say it, but City were poor especially in the first half. Maidstone were good and no doubt having a sizeable budget helps. From the kick-off City were 2nd best and the sending off had no affect on the final result. I would like to see the incident for the first yellow card again - was it deserved?
City's game is to play with two wide men who hug the touchline with one striker in the middle. Generally this has worked well over the past few weeks. However, there are times when the midfield are overworked and overrun. Surely this is when you need to revert to two up front and play four in the middle.
Lofthouse is a good player, but took a knock early on and disappeared for most of the first half. He did take his goal well though. After equalising City should have tightened up, but didn't seem to do so. Saying that, the players did show good character and the effort that they put in deserves a mention.
I was impressed with Maidstone and fully expect them to be challenging come the end of the season. It is important to gain points from the games coming up against St Albans and Hungerford. Two clean sheets would be a good Christmas present!
Finally, let's get rid of this 'Interim' nonsense and give Andy the job or is there another twist in the tale?
