Not sure what's been going on with the social media channels of late, but have the club hired a 5-year-old to start tweeting stuff alongside the current media team? Professionalism on a number of tweets (not to mention grammar) seems to have totally disappeared.
Think this reaction about Finn Tapp sums everything up - it's hardly anything that the club should really be promoting. Not really showing any commitment is it that he's happy to go away from a significant period of time on Love Island.
Can imagine that 99% of managers in football would be fuming if one of their players turned up to their office and said they were going on Love Island, but the way the club are promoting it like Justin and Andy were excited for the prospect. Imagine the majority of clubs would end up terminating a contract over it.
Anyway, what are we going to do at centre-half while he's away? It's not like it's a position we've got plenty of cover for, so are we going to be getting a player on loan, or buy someone instead?

I just hope we’re going to bring a centre back in to cover while he’s mucking about on telly!

This is giving me flashbacks to the day we signed Matt Paterson - only difference is that we were gaining a player and I actually like McDonalds.

Article on Finn Tapp/Love Island in Daily Telegraph Sport section, page 19! There was one at the end of last week in The Times that had his picture (and naming him) attached to an article about the medical issues associated with long-term steroid use by men in their attempts to achieve the 'Love Island look'. There was no explicit connection between the picture and the written article, or any mention of OCFC.

Daily mail had a note in the sport section about his concussion and how ITV gave him their own medical before allowing him on the island.
Ironically he was due to report to the club for a medical tuesday and when he didnt show that's when they found out he was halfway to Africa.
