Guess not too many are planning on doing this trip but as it's my old stomping ground, a bit of info for anyone who might make the trip! Firstly, Barwell is little more in reality, a suburb of Hinckley..about 3 miles and 15 mins on a bus from Hinckley town centre in fact. It's certainly no Forest Green (anyone who has been to the idyllic Gloucs village will understand) but okish! Barwell town centre (Toptown) is a crossroads, with the Blacksmiths Arms (Marston's) on one corner, a chippy on the other. These are only a 5-7 min walk from Barwell FC on Kirkby Rd. Also a minute's walk from Toptown is the Queen's pub (Marston's)..where I'll start off from. Nothing on Kirkby Rd itself (just off Toptown) and haven't been to BFC social club in years..never used to be spectacular..although my ex-girlfriend sings there...attracting more punters than Barwell v Stourbridge, last Saturday!!! ;D

Great to watch a dominant display from the lads on Saturday, a game we never looked in any danger of losing from the first whistle.
Tough to single out one player as a star performer as felt the whole team were looking sharp and performed well, onwards and upwards, hopefully we play like that again on Tuesday against Frome.

Yes, good time had on Saturday. Leicester nightout after..back to Hinckley for nightcap! Despite my Barwell friend's protestations..thought it should have been 5-0! Att: 116 (OCFC 6?) Attendance possibly affected further by Hinckley Utd playing FC Halifax..literally down the hill..in front of 600 (200+ apparently from Halifax!)

I dont think 6/7-0 would've been out of the question, hit the woodwork 5 times, Bash attempt ruled out + a few more chances here and there
Probably 15 there from City (still not a number to boast about!)
