City Vets will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face old rivals Chinnor, at Thame Utd on Wednesday night.
They will be without Stuart Clark (knee/Calf), Paul Creed (knee, back, calf and hamstring), Rory Barrett (Shin & knee), Stewart Parsons (watching the Gooners) and Justin 1 & 2 (Managing some other team apparently!!). Despite these setbacks they welcome Darren MacNamarra into the squad for the first time and Simon Grossman back from injury.
Subject to the boys not injuring themselves overnight, Young Kenny will have a squad of 15 to choose from tomorrow night.
Squad; Pagano, Dore, Martin, Cooper, Dark, Pearce, Tutton, Gills, Orlando, Holden, Spittle, Warmington, Maciak, MacNamarra, Grossman.

I should of known not to post the squad too early as one of the boys did indeed get injured overnight... Paul Spittle got injured training last night (you should know better at your age Spitz!!), although he didn't inform me what he was training for?
This opens the door for Lee Sharkey to make his debut and no doubt a bit more silly chatter to the dressing room.
Will definately be having a word with the boys this evening about this training lark... Just save yourselves for Wednesday nights lads.
Come on the Vets.

City Vets woes on the road continued last night when they were beaten 4 - 1 away to Chinnor!! Despite the impressive surroundings and pitch at Thame Utd's new ground, City failed to live up to the high expectations they have set themselves over the last couple of years. Looking to bounce back after last week's defeat City started brightly enough against a strong Chinnor side. However after losing Andy Cooper through injury Chinnor started to win the midfield battle and dominate possession. City's usual crisp passing was also absent and the half became the usual battle against an aggressive Chinnor 11. Sid was superb between the sticks and kept City in the game at half time, and a wonder save from the home keeper ensured there was no score at the break. Despite a bright opening five minutes to the second half, things went from bad to worse in the second half as City performed well below par. An unfortunate deflected goal, followed closely by a second gave us a mountain to climb. Lee Sharkey managed to pull one back after a good piece of skill in the box and the game was back on. However City continued to give away possession and paid the ultimate price with two late goals to finish with a resounding win for the home side. Credit to Chinnor who dominated the game throughout and finished deserved winners... The boys will have to step up a gear when they visit Court Farm in a fortnight for a tough cup fixture. Young Kenny will be hoping to have a full squad to choose from for the first time if City are going to turn their season around. Reg if your reading this 'I definitely haven't got a brother'!!!
