Not as bad a tie as some are making out(should we progress against Redbridge) , last season's giant killers vs City or Redbridge, think it could be a dark horse for being a live televised game too.

All lthe best to you on the replay!
If you do get through, Crawley are a side who hate any type of defensive football we play with one up front and ten behind the ball on away games, and have upset mr wilder at united, because of it, but steve Evans accused us of finishing football as a sport if they had to play against us every week! Do not agree with that you have to go to a game with a plan and getting a point from crawley with such a good home record was tremendous.
all the best to you and redbridge,
Bobs mate from Accrington Stanley

Decisions on which games will be televised are apparently being made this week. If we get through (yes, please!) against Redbridge and the Crawley game is on TV they will have to shift the KO time from 3pm Saturday. What we need is a really good crowd next Tuesday. I hope Oxford United are not also playing that night. Come on, you HOOOOOOOOPS!

Oxford Utd don't have a game! So hopefully we will see some of their fans come down to support us. I reckon we will have a good crowd for the replay, 600 i think. Gonna have to buy some more burgers i think....

No united do not have a fixture, and there are many from this end of the city (east) going up, I have told them how good city are and they are starting to take notice now! Ironic they are playing Crawley in the league away this weekend, but we still have to earn the right against Redbridge I can see more like the thousand mark!!!

Just got an e-mail from wegottickets.com. Check the links below. Fantastic initiative: -------------------------------- Hello, In what may be a first for us at WeGotTickets, we are proud to announce that we are selling tickets for Oxford City FC's forthcoming FA Cup 1st Round replay fixture against Redbridge next Tuesday, the 22nd of November - tickets/infoCurrently sitting atop the The Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division, just two divisions below the Conference, the team are having their best season for many years (the highlight being a 7-1 thrashing of Swindon Supermarine) and are in with a chance of qualifying for the second round of the FA Cup for the first time in their 127 year history. A history that includes the combined might of Bobby Moore and Harry Redknapp as the management team in the early 80s. Having held Redbridge to a 0-0 draw last Saturday, the replay at Court Place Farm Stadium will be the first time advance tickets will be available for a home match. Priced at £10 (£5 for concessions and Under 16s free!), this will be the perfect opportunity to see what the "other" team in Oxford has to offer. Oxford City FC vs Redbridge 7:45pm, Tuesday 22nd November tickets/info. -------------------------------- Has someone from the club got a contact at wegottickets?

This I think will be the first time we have hosted a 1st Round tie since the first Bournemouth game in 1970, as the 'home' game against Wycombe in 1999 was at the Manor Ground, if I remember it right. If we have 1,000 or so it will make for a great atmosphere. Can't wait!
