Saturday's visitors are Chippenham, they've recently beaten Totton and are one of the form sides so a very tricky game awaits

A deserved win and an excellent first-half performance. After Chippenham pulled one back we had the usual tendancy to defend too deep but this time there were no late equalisers !

Here we go at the defence again they were out standing again. But again the middle field letting the other team run straight thought ,until the middle field works for 90 min the defence with always drop deep! if they do not get any help .No holding middle field player, we need sav back or a player like him . the middle field like to go forward which is good , but you need a player that holds it together ( we need a governor in the middle of the park ) .Fordy need to look in his little book and find a big old x pro that will brake the middle field play up and play as a holding roll

Good first half performance against a useful side. Held on well after Chippy got one back. There were signs at Cambridge of a return of confidence with some very good passing play. I thought city were unlucky not to get a point after hitting the bar and offside goal early second half. Woodley now joining the squad is very exciting as fisher Benjamin and woodley were excellent together in united under 17s.
Then all three played well at senior level. With Steele back and lets hope bash will be back in the not to distant future, I can see the side getting stronger and a real possibility of a playoff push. Stourbridge for me are the form team now in the league they have a nice unbeaten run and games in hand over everyone.
