Well lads last night was the best night of my life, When I won the competition to train with you guys I couldnt believe my luck, You made me feel very welcome and I will be eternally gratefull for this. To share a pitch with such greats as Jane Sholden, Pete komber, gason maciajack, alan thomas, pearl crudd, marvin smythe and of course mike ward was a dream come true.
If im honest I thought it was a bit harsh that you put me in goal a lot and kept nut-megging me but I wont let that take the shine off the night. Thanks again and keep believing boys you can do it this season.

well lee , it was good to see you try your hardest out there , some of us couldn't get to grips with the new 3d pitch and kept falling over.. any way in general the gaffer (looked like he'd been on a milk tray advert , and had eaten a few boxes) must have been pleased.. the boys ran solid for the whole hour and even put a bit extra in for the warm down (trying to get basses babygrow off .. new lad abdalla babu moswen (Ronnie for short ) looks to be the answer to his left wing problem , alongside the big framed Andrew thommoson in his itailian branded tracksuit .. just in Merritt , who can knock a 40 yard ball in the 6 yard box was out to impress also flame holden in his sparkling new puma queens .. must also remind fordy to keep that chin up after missing his 2 sitters .(he's missed on bigger occasions oxford utd v Chelsea beech road end from the penalty spot , stuck it over the bar ) no injury's to report and all back to the old peoples home for bag change and horlicks .. same time next week ..

Sorry it's taken me a couple of days to post something guys, but only just got home from Bogarts after celebrating our 9-7 win. A well worth work out for the boys, which also give me a chance to look at Smyler, Fordy, Thommo & Southy to see if they are ready for the Over 40's this season. Anyway After a couple of days reflection, here are the Individual performance reviews for Thursday:
Winning team;
Creedy - 8/10 when not falling over. Needs to focus more on the game instead of watching Netball. Clarkey - 6/10. Needs to try to get used to the style of City's passing game, still picking up bad habits from his time with Kiddy vets. Jason Majico - 4/10. Still lacking confidence after Arsenal's mauling of AC Milan last week. Needs to lose the hat next week, seemed to be weighing him down. Fordy - 9/10 for his supply of the match balls and bibs. 5/10 for his finishing. Can do better, but done enough to make the Over 40's squad because he's my mate. Justin Merritt - 4/10 for his supply of bibs. 8/10 for his 40 yard balls to feet. Manny "Ronnie Williams" Paccio - 9/10. Showed some great touches considering he was playing bare footed. Definitely should be straight in the Nomads team Saturday Mezzer. Shaun Pearce - 9/10. Quality hat-trick from Shaun, who was playing his 10th game that week. Holdy - 10/10. MOM. Need I say more?
LOSERS
Lee Baskerville - 9/10. Class. The boy hasn't lost it. Only agreed to play at last minute when promised that he would be in Kimber's team. Needs to lose a bit of weight though if he wants to continue to wear Archie's Baby Grows. Thommo - 5/10. Needs to find some bigger shorts next time??? Needs to do more next week if he wants to make my Over 40's squad. Smyler - 8/10. On that performance, he makes the squad for the over 40's. Film director who was watching from the sidelines has asked him to be the lead role in Happy Feet 3. Southy - 7/10. Beep Beep. Good job they had a cage round the pitch otherwise he would have ended up in London. Done enough to make the Over 40's squad. Sorry about the Nutmegs Southy. Kimber - 10/10. Can I start against Shrivenham boss. So Annoying every time he scored he was either sucking his thumb, pulling a dummy out of his jock strap or rocking his arms as if he had a baby in them. Tut - 9/10. His Dad scored this. Thought he looked solid as a rock at the back in his cords. Stewy "Stewy" Parsons - 7/10. Difficult for Stewy to get in to the game, as he was carrying Thommo for most of the game.
Same time next week boys. Boodles though this time after.

I agree with wayne on those scores, but I think the big winner on the night was Ronnie Williams, Hes really got himself in shape and from the sideline I didnt hear him moan once. great work ron and keep it up
