Figured Ill post this after yet another demonstration last night of how effective JC can be in an offensive role when given the opportunity to do so. There seemed to be universal opinion that he is an extremely dangerous player when he has ball at his feet running at pace at the opposition and last night made some great contributions with some very dangerous driven crosses into the box, which just needed a nick off anybody to go in...and even had a couple of (pretty diabolical) shots himself.
Though he is an essential part of the defense particularly in stopping pacy opposition counter attacks I just think Fordy should consider letting him off the leash abit and use his ability to going forward much more as well and give him the Chance to go on his mazy runs and overlaps to get his dangerous crosses in which panicked ardley no end last night.
On another note, fantastic to see Bell play the 90 yesterday, though he had a quite first half, second half he got his game head on and really took it to ardley, who couldn't deal with him, eventually as soon as he got the ball he was closed down by 2 defenders and still they couldn't really handled him and this created quite abit of space in behind which we used very well.
Nice to see Barcelos on the score sheet again, I still think he could do more when 'scrapping' for the ball but as long as he keeps scoring then good times!
