It's obviously gutting to lose, but (and I know it's an old cliche) at least we can make a real push in the league. It may even be a blessing in disguise.
Let's look at the positives: - We scored two goals and dominated against a League 2 side. - We've got a very strong starting 11 and bench, with some top class players. - No FA Cup, Trophy or Zam Cup to worry about. - The support was fantastic throughout. - The coverage is going to generate new fans. - Everyone's seems to be singing now!
It was around this time last year that JM took us on a massive unbeatan run. We can do it again.
We're 6 points of the play-off positions, with two or three games in hand over the teams up there. We've got three home games in two weeks, and a winable game away to Hednesford. Maximum points.
Lets believe!
