Nomads drawn at home in FA Vase

Oxford City Nomads were rewarded for their win on Sunday against Windsor with another home tie in the Second Round Proper of the FA Vase: they have been drawn against SCL Division 1 side Peacehaven and Telscombe on November 17th.
The East Sussex side are enjoying a good season in the league, lying third with just one defeat so far. In their Round 1 tie on Saturday they had a comfortable 5-0 win at fellow SCL side Lancing.
Those with longer memories will remember that Peacehaven & Telscombe coincidentally visited Court Place Farm to play Oxford City in the same competition in December 1994. A Paul Sherwood goal gave City the win in a close-fought game as City moved on towards their meeting with Arlesey at Wembley the following May.
