Oxford City Nomads were rewarded for their win on Sunday against Windsor with another home tie in the Second Round Proper of the FA Vase: they have been drawn against SCL Division 1 side Peacehaven and Telscombe on November 17th. The East Sussex side are enjoying a good season in the league, lying third with just one defeat so far. In their Round 1 tie on Saturday they had a comfortable 5-0 win at fellow SCL side Lancing. Those with longer memories will remember that Peacehaven & Telscombe coincidentally visited Court Place Farm to play Oxford City in the same competition in December 1994. A Paul Sherwood goal gave City the win in a close-fought game as City moved on towards their meeting with Arlesey at Wembley the following May. Other Round 2 ties involving Hellenic sides are: Tunbridge Wells v Wantage Town Marlow v Kidlington Ascot United v Reading Town Croydon v Newbury Deal Town v Binfield Pagham/Horsham YMCA v Ardley United
