Thought worth noting on here that Richard Pierson has announced his retirement from football at the age of 35 after Didcot's game with Arlesey at the weekend.
An excellent defender who scored alot of important goals in his time at City, No City fan will forget the late equaliser at Adams Park in 99 that took Wycombe to a replay in the Fa Cup first round and lets not forget the great job Richard did when returning to City a couple of season's ago
Happy retirement!

Agreed...Richard was very good indeed for us when he returned two or three seasons back and did a grand job at a tricky time. He was particularly useful back in the '90s, regularly scoring goals at set pieces and more than once turned striker when goals were needed. He played 192 matches for the 1st XI and scored 41 goals...including a hat-trick in the 10-1 cup win at Shoreham in 2000. Good luck in retirement!

I'm sure he used to get called Pelé occasionally, can't think by who! Happy Retirement!

Was he the guy that looked like Quagmire from Family Guy?
If it was him he was a decent player but his brother Steve was better in his day.......

Didnt Danny Wise score the fastest ever F A Cup hat trick by a substitute in the Shoreham game?

Certainly it was the first time a sub had scored five goals in an FA Cup tie (don't know if that record has been beaten yet?). But not sure about the record for fastest hat-trick as a sub.
