I have been looking on YouTube there game against Wimborne is on there. They are no push over at home, they have done well in all cup competitions. We will need to get it on the ground and treat them like any away league side we play! If so I can see a draw Sholing 2-2 City & Replay at CPF.

Travelled down to today's game. And was that a poor display or what??? Ok we won but we were so poor. We really need to improve. The distribution and communication is a must! The team is so quiet. Nice to felipe back what about gunny will he get back in the team anytime soon?? Was bash ok today?

Nice to felipe back what about gunny will he get back in the team anytime soon?? Was bash ok today? Bash was carrying a slight injury, should be back for Corby away. Must agree the performance was not up to scratch but the main thing is we are through and Fordy can now work on the issues one of which is shot accuracy, its no good just missing the post its got to be in the net! Thought Matt Ingram had an excellent game in goal, which obviously means we have to tighten up in defense.

Presumably the draw for the 1st Round Proper is tomorrow? Last time we got that far was in 2004/05 when we went out 4-2 in a home replay in the 2nd Round. Who did we beat 4-1 in the 1st Round? None other than Brackley Town!

The Trophy is quite an oddity. They have changed the format quite often over the years. It is a bit of a quirk that it does actually only have three Qualifying Rounds. The FA and other competitions have four. The Trophy also has just four main rounds, then a two-legged semi-final. Prize money goes up in increments of £1000 in each round, so £5000 for Rd 1 winners and so on to £8000 for winners of the 4th Round, then it doubles to £16000 for winning the semi and £50k for the winners in the final.

Yep your right I was thinking of the f.a. cup. Of course we have the likes of Luton & Newport go in the hat today but over 30 Con/Prem teams go into the north section draw as its still regionalised, which round does it go national?
