2-1 to us, Felipe and Dec scoring. Attendance 350. This forum is too quiet at present. We need to be getting behind the lads and give them a boost for this game. Come on you Hoops!

After Workington we have struggled in front of goal countless chances going wide of the target. 4k will help with ongoing refurbishment, but another 5k would be even better, its a rest from the league but everything to play for ! With target practice I am hoping for a return to scoring from the front line City 3-1 Bishops Stortford, Benjamin x2 Barcelos, Sappleton for them.

Yeah agree, need to get back to winning ways, really struggaling to put chances away. we should have been 2 or 3 up last weekend by half time but just couldn't put it in the net....then missed a couple of decent chances in the 2nd half and let Corby back into it.
City win...that is all.
P.s Any more info on two new lads that were in the squad at Corby?

This rather reminds me of the Trophy game away to Stevenage some years ago, when I had arrived in their car park, having travelled a long way down the A1, to hear at 2.30 pm that it was off. We have also had a few late postponements at CPF in the distant past. Football and winter do not always mix!

NLP has the match being played on Tuesday evening. Has this been officially confirmed, please? This looks to be the case, and I understand confirmation will be on the main website soon. The main thing is the weather forecast and state of pitch, Forecast is for rain on Monday but clear the rest of the week but turning colder. Met office Benson.

Yes the match is now confirmed as 7.45pm CPF Tuesday 27th November on main website. And we have signed two players Josh Mulvany and striker Ashan Holgate.

On the main site it has 'if the game is not played Tuesday it will be played this Saturday. Surely this is wrong?

I'm pretty sure they'll keep trying to play it on a midweek date rather than postpone a league game in order to play it, unless the date gets to close to the next round date then in that case it would have to be a saturday i guess

Apparently if not Tuesday, then possibly Wednesday or following Monday. Needs to be done sooner rather than later as time has to be left for a possible replay.

With the met office forecasting early showers but clearing up after midday just wondered how the ground is looking and whether there is any standing water?

Yup. inspection is at 1.30pm , its not raining and quite windy in Marston at the moment but i just wonder if the pitch was already too saturated from the additional rain last night, we'll soon see i guess...
