Batemans is great, but alas I am driving! I'll go for 2-1 to us, both to Barcelos. Attendance 1,250 as it is a holiday.

On a very heavy pitch which cannot be given as an excuse because both teams were in action. We kept on giving the ball back to them or just hoofed it nowhere. Ingram made yet another fantastic save to send us in all square at half time, after they had scored early and Learoyd squared it as the half drew to a close. Very little was seen from the forward line and changes in the second half made only marginal difference, I would like to say this was a flash in the pan, but there forwards had no problem, passing it around we showed we could pass it second half but the final product was not there yet again!
My MOTM for City Paul Stonehouse (for some outstanding defensive tackles)

Since our win over Workington in mid October in the league we have P8 W 0 L 3 D5 , thats 5 points from possible 24. Not good reading!

Pitch 'heavy' ;D Like watching Star Soccer in the seventies!!! Obviously glad all those concerned on both sides went for it on though..don't think given the condotions/quigmire -especially down the left side! - anything could be done but hoof tbh! Thought Fordy's lads did brilliantly to compete until clearly flagging in the last 20 mins or so, which then saw Boston dominate and take control. Also thought Ingram in goal and Stonehouse put in excellent digging in performances! 871 (10-15 OCFC?) York Street, great ground at this level...nice having a segregated away section - felt like being in the League..almost!

just read this on their forum "Oxford were very poor, one of the worst we have played this season, really not sure how they are top half based on the 2 games we have played against them" Did he forget us having pretty much all the play in the second half and whacking 4 goals past them at Court Place Farm? it's a strange one.

Read that too, a bit unfair, but when you think your still in division one its a bit sad! They even say play off place, unless they buy some very good players can't see it. As Ford said in Oxford Mail today all three units are not firing as they were early season. Change in players injuries etc. But he's working on it and he has always delivered in the past, just have to weather the storm. We are still doing much better than expected. As for the comment here is stats; City 4-Boston-2 Boston-3 City-1 that's 5 goals for 5 against 3 points each, equal .FACT.

No they never made it into division 1 spent most of 2002-2007 avoiding the drop until it finally happened. We hammered them in the second half of the game at CPF, I think if you look back at there thread then, they were pretty much in meltdown! ;D
