Eddie Stobart 1-0 City Sitting here with matchsticks in my eyes after a long day & night on the coach to Chester. After the 5 hour and 40 minute trip to the game, we found ourselves in a battle against the top side in the league and theres no doubt about it Chester are a classy side, they knocked the ball around really well with fantastic movement. To our lads credit we battled well all evening, the duo of Motty & Learoyd losing very little in the air, but likewise their centre backs did much of the same, Mark Bell returned and had a really strong showing gaining the City man of the match award in the process, we played some nice passing football just lacking in the final third slightly, but 2-0 against the top side who i saw comfortably beat Brackley a few weeks ago is not an awful result by any stretch Ashan Holgate found himself in the A&E department of a Chester hospital after having his ear accidently trodden on following a collision, the coach made a detour via the hospital to pick him up at 11pm, finally wearily rolling back into the carpark at Court Place Farm at 2.30am

welcome anytime guys . true footy fans Thank you very much and the lads in the blues bar who I enjoyed a Brandy with whilst waiting for the coach after the game, great lads even offered to let me Kip on the sofa if I missed it, nearly did having such a good time and chat  |
