Mills gone, Malone out, Basham out, Benjamin presumably suspended, Holgate doubtful, everyone tired after a mammoth Wednesday-Thursday journey and another long journey up to come--and playing away to the second best team in the division--sounds like we should be mashed but maybe it's the sort of challenge we could rise to!

Just signed Callum Mcnish from Basingstoke goes straight into squad, 6 footer. Former Exeter and Braintree player.

With numbers thin on the ground, and another midfielder signed, and money tight. Only three options remain. Emergency loans (probably ex players local for one month) Two players from Nomads. Or shuffle the pack playing players out of position. A defender and Forward are needed badly!

Benjamin's suspention is against Halifax at home according to fa disaplinary awaiting cautions list, and the Ox Mail have it right we will be without Paul Stonehouse for an accumulation of yellow cards, now very thin on the ground at the back! Poor Matt.

Only stone house missing tommo a big loss , but Hardly thin on the ground at the back as u put it ! I will refrase, no Mills gone no Stoney suspended they were a strong partnership at the back. If you mean players playing out of there natural position but are defenders anyway A makeshift defence, hardly a team to expect anything from against a side who have won 9 of there past 10 and drew the other one. But we will have to make do as we have not got there kind of money to throw about!

Sponsors odds Guiseley 4-9 (good odds should be 1-5 with current record) 14-5 draw City to win 5-1 ...

Good day out yesterday...good craic with some of the locals, good pubs and bars, as well as an excellent clubhouse..some good ales to be had! Also thought an excellent perfomance from City (especially 1st half)..Guiseley on their forum seem to give the impression that we simply parked the bus - bias if ever I've seen! Was off the pace in the 2nd half admitedly, but think if can go into games with that kind of performance, a few more wins should be in the bag!
