Seven or eight clubs within a few points of the playoff positions. This league is still open for business! We are in the hunt until the fat lady sings. On Saturday's showing we should get a point at least off Halifax. Go for it, Hoops!

I think Chester are nailed-on as they say, for the Championship, and Guiseley odds on for a playoff place. I am not so sure about Brackley: the 'peloton' seems to be drawing them back. As with the cycle races, the sprint finish for 3rd to 5th will go to the fittest, strongest and money bagged clubs! Gainsborough and Halifax probably, with Brackley or Worcester as 5th. OCFC I feel will do well to finish higher than 8th, and not lower than 12th. This is more than we could have expected for our first season at Step 2.

For city to finish in top 10 is great for them, you all have done a lot for good work this season. Yes chester top and Guiseley in play off too, Gainsborough and Halifax yes and as for the 5th one god errrrrrrrrr i think Worcester

With lows of -5 and snow forecast Friday night sat morning not looking good unless met office has it wrong. I think a midweek rearrangement would be bad for away and home numbers

I'd say Chester to be champions, play-offs to be Guiseley, Halifax, Brackley and Altrincham. City to finish 10 and to move to Conference South for next season ( 3 more northerly teams coming down from the Conference, and 2 more "northern" teams up from the Southern League )
If Saturday's match goes ahead we would have at least played the top 4 twice already, with potentially easier matches to come.
