1—1 was I think a fair result to today's game, although both sides had enough chances to get all the points. City played very well, and were quick into challenges and interceptions in order to minimise the impact of the Histon passing game. Perhaps we didn't create enough chances in the first half but were much more dangerous in the last twenty minutes or so, especially after Belly came on. A good goal for Felipe, and Ash had a good game holding the ball up and getting his passes in more than in most games he has played. The defence was mostly very good, although we have to watch those nippy wingers. Oh why do some refs have to spoil things with over-fussy whistling? It was a 'yellow a minute' for a while in the first half, or so it seemed, and only served to break up the flow of an otherwise very entertaining game. Full marks to the Glassworld folk for the excellent facilities, especially the hot dogs! The pitch was in very good nick too. I hope we get to play you again next season, although as things stand there is a chance that we may get moved over to BS South.

Missed this one today. But excellent point from a talented young side fighting for there lives, and they have had some good results recently. And was at the 0-0 home game which we were simply out passed and lucky to get a point, sounds like the passing practice against blechingdon paid off. Radio Oxford reported a mini pitch invasion by the oxford few at the end (don't tell me Brian leapfroged over the fence?).

Another very useful point for us, don't quite understand some the opinions coming from Histon supporters and NLP report saying we "stole" a point after hardly giving them a kick in the first 20 minutes, credit Histon as i've said before they play some attractive attacking football, the subs certainly gave us a kick up the arse in the second half, Mcnish came within inches of scoring with a 20 yard potshot and Belly created several opportunities including setting up Felipe (who finished it off very well), MOTM for me Ashan Holgate, man his heart out and battled for everything, Matty made some very important saves too.

And the video on the main site, confirms what you say, these youngsters of histon have to learn how to finish, they are not out of the woods yet! We nearly even nicked it at the end!
