Yes, Yes he was and he's going to be at Solihull Moors on Tuesday....so if you fancy making the trip to have a word then please feel free to do so.
Also seemed quite a nice bloke, my mate disappeared for half the game and we wandered where he'd gone, turns out he's off buying an OCFC water bottle and chatting to Mr G who approached him. Introduced himself, shook his hand then asked afew questions , Mr G also asked what he did and he said Ice Hockey player before they had along chat about that sport.
This is quite positive in that it shows he's not a monster but actually human.
On a sidenote someone I stand with sat next to Shep at the Hungerford friendly and had long chat with him about the Mr G Situation. Shep said that any contracts written concerning Mr G can be cancelled overnight and have a raft of get out clauses in them. Everything Mr G does needs to be run past the senior members of the club and basically reassured that if Mr G does go off on a whim the club will not be put at risk and relevant action will be taken.
This is kinda the assumption I thought as I didn't believe Colin or any of the other senior officials would be fully taken in with no safeguards in place when approached by a man of Mr G's history. No reason to suggest the safeguards do not exist.
Anyway as said he'll be up in Solihull Moors on Tuesday.

I to shook Colins, and Mr G's hand he is Human, was stood by the turnstile ready to answer all your questions. But none of you turned up! I suggest you do as hedges says and speak to the man face to face instead of behind his back!

The Wikipedia entry on Psychopathy includes the following common facets of interpersonal behaviour:
Glibness/superficial charm Grandiose sense of self-worth Pathological lying Cunning/manipulative
Mr Guerriero's own puff-pieces provide ample evidence of the second and third traits, so I wouldn't take an ability to be superficially charming to others as evidence of his good character.

"Go Home Yank" Probably best to stick to the provable facts rather than make potentially liable statements like that. The latest accounts for WMX Group certainly make interesting reading. They bear all the hallmarks of a classic "boiler room" operation..... Have to agee there thats the best way to get the thread closed with a reason! WMX stock close 2.40 $ thats a -97% but its been a bad week and there was the website to pay for, oh yes volume $ 553k

From Wikipedia he was General Manager at New England between 2003-2008. From Linked-In he was also Vice President of Business Development at New England until January 2013 . On that level seems to be a highly credible football administrator to be associated with, but I doubt he comes cheap !
However, he only has 150 connections on Linked-In, where it says he is looking for a senior level position in an established organisation with vision to grow their brand.....
It will be interesting to see exactly what he will add to a Conference North football club !

Much more grounded person by all accounts looks at spending,, no extravagant claims Knows his Soccer and has good contacts. Appart from that, and he helped out in a security Incident on a plane back in 2008. Apparently was at Solihull Moors and talked to a number of Fans before his appointment.

Oh, and a little hint as to what's in it for Mr G in the first article:
"The company also owns Oxford City University in the United States, which expects to have its first brick and mortar campus offering their comprehensive professional degree programs in South Florida in the near future. OXFC expects the strong ties in Oxford where they own Oxford City Sports College, to strategically put the University in a tremendous position for the future."
And, of course, any confusion in the USA as to whether the Oxford City University is any way connected to the historic UK academic institution is entirely accidental. (PS All application and enrolment fees are non-refundable)

What an absolute farce all of this is.

Mr G.'s company has finally posted its next quarterly results. See : biz.yahoo.com/e/131015/oxfc10-k.htmlPerhaps an accountant can explain how such losses are sustainable. I note that under expenditure "officer compensation" has increased substantially. I wonder who gets that. Despite the awful financial profile there has been new revenue raised through share issues. I do hope that it is not the club.

One of the "world's leading entrepreneurs" has been busy submitting his own copy to Opportunist magazine: www.oxfordcityfc.com/thomas-anthony-guerriero-ceo-oxford-city-football-club-otcqboxfc-featured-on-the-cover-of-opportunist-magazine/I can't help but wonder if either he or the publishers even understand the word "opportunist". If Tommy is looking in, he might want to check out one or more of the following: www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/opportunist: someone who tries to get an advantage or something valuable from a situation without thinking about what is fair or right Definition of opportunist (n) Bing Dictionary op·por·tun·ist [ óppər tnist ] 1.unprincipled resourceful person: somebody who takes advantage of something, especially somebody who does so in a devious, unscrupulous, or unprincipled way Synonyms: freebooter, speculator, fortune hunter, buccaneer, swashbuckler, chancer, carpetbagger. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opportunism

Oooh! I just found this, which I haven't seen posted already (apologies if I missed it). You can check out Mr G with the Financial Industry Regulation Authority: brokercheck.finra.org/Individual/3116678 Click on "detailed report" to find out what he's been up to. There are two outstanding cases of litigation lodged by a former employer. (Innocent until proven guilty, of course, even on this forum!) He settled with another employer (at a cost of $8,500.00) "to avoid the time and expense of litigation". And it is on record that he was sacked by another employer for misrepresentation. Hardly the employment history of a tycoon, more like the employment history of an Opportunist... Magazine cover star.

I suspect whilst there is money to be made off of the 'Oxford City' name, TG will be around for a while yet. I am sure there are plenty of rich people willing to cough up $9,000 to say that they have studied at the Oxford City University, even though it is seemingly a virtual course and a campus does not exist. I suspect if he is giving the Club a few dollars from what he is making off the City name, then they are happy to let it carry on.
A simple Google of TG's name and Oxford City seems to bring up lots of websites being a combination of Thomas, Anthony, Guerriero combined with Oxford, City, FC, Football and Club etc etc - why the need for so many websites - to help hide the ones with bad news perhaps? They all seem to have the fairly same content, although I did have to have a chuckle when I noticed one referred to him as the owner of Oxford United. A lot of the PR does seem to be about him rather than the Club.
I hope for the Club's sake that we are all wrong in doubting him. Time will tell....
