intresting topic for discussion.
Im tending to agree with you Padz, I think he has done pretty darn well at Centre half from what ive seen of him (which has been at home, unless he does it all wrong 'on the road') and seems to be getting better in that position the more he plays there.
I also notice intrestingly that dougie is normally the one to hang back when we have a corner and its normally the second centre back taht goes forward (i.e Gunny)...dougie will only join him in the box with a nod from fordy or when we are behind and looking desperate....i.e tonight.
Also raises the issue, if he as a player enjoys that defensive role or prefers an attacking role....only him and fordy would know that one though.
on a side note and I don't have my program here with me to check, who was that playing right back tonight, didn't reconise him?...and who is Knight (relation to Richard Knight?) the second half sub that came on?

Knight - pretty much an ever-present for Nomads this season. Not a relation of Richard's as far as I'm aware. |
