Still v. quiet on here, so I'll follow up my 'play-offs' thread with another. How would a Brexit affect City? I suspect we'd not get anymore Spanish (or other EU-based) players. Discuss...

Don't think it's gonna make much difference personally in regards to playing staff.
In regards to grants from the eu which I've heard we do get that would obviously stop (wasn't one such grant used on the community arena?)
The futsal as a whole will be adversely effected as that is almost entirely made up of foreign players....not just us....but the vast majority of teams in the top division or two. Also we might need a visa or two too see them play next season.....where ever that may be.

However, as and when the full process has been gone through, it would be, I think, extremely difficult to convince the authorities that there was a case for signing foreign players ahead of UK ones. Still, that's probably three years down the line...and that's a VERY long time in non-league football!!
