About a month ago it was announced HERE that local radio would be covering the 68 clubs of the National League this season. Can't say that I can see any sign of their coverage of City v Welling today in their listings. Anyone heard any more about this?

Yeah i was expecting live commentary of matches but online link. But coming to think now, probably means local radio updates on matches, which is what happens now, but just updates at half time and fulltime.

Hey ho, still very minimal then...can't see why the National League were getting so excited about it. They seemed to be presenting it as a Great Step Forward!

BBC Radio Oxford have often dropped back to City when there is no United game on a Saturday - they opted for a music instead of live commentary last weekend.
So not even second best anymore.

So either Radio Oxford never signed up with the National League in the first place or have already reneged on the agreement. Whichever is the case, it's a pretty disappointing state of affairs. Perhaps tonight they'll make amends and keep us up-to-date with the Wealdstone game?

After last night's performance I'm glad they didn't bother turning up. No one will want to come on what they would have heard last night.
